Indispensable to your interior decor, this pouf that conforms to the body’s contour, is conducive to a comfortable lifestyle: you can stretch out your legs and put your feet up. The possibilities for use are endless! Once you get used to this pouf, you'll wonder how you managed without it. As a practical necessity, giving you extra seating, this pouf can also be an attractive piece of furniture adding rustic texture and tribal influence to your space. Put the pouf in front of your sofa, your favorite armchair or simply give it a central position in the room.
The pouf follows the lead of the body’s contour as their cotton canvas shells are filled with polystyrene beads. The possibilities for use are endless! But notably, floor pillows/poufs also make a really fun gift.
These beanbags have not been overfilled deliberately; they would otherwise be less comfortable and introduce unwanted stress on the stitches on the subtle flanged edges. All seam stitching are reinforced for a more durable construction.

BACKSTORY:
The word Pouf is a variation of the spelling of the word pouffe, derived from the French word bouffer, which means to puff.
Pouf is defined by the British Dictionary as “a large solid cushion, usually cylindrical or cubic in shape, used as a seat.” The French word, “pouffe,” has the same meaning. Poufs have great versatility: chairs, footrest, serving table and tabletops.
Today, they are an essential fashion item for many home decorators as they come in many shapes, hardness and sizes to fit almost any space; and they offer infinite colors, textures and patterns. As they are commonly much smaller than an upholstered chair, poufs make good accent pieces for home furnishings.
Now, many people use the words “Pouf”, “Ottoman”, “Hassock”, and “footstool” interchangeably to mean the same thing. But they are not the same:
First of all, a typical footstool is made of wood. Although it may be used as a pouf, it is not really made to be a comfortable place to sit but rather a short step for reaching up into cabinets and closets.
A typical ottoman is a low wooden box frame seat made with wooden legs and a cushioned top.
The hassock though more similar to the pouf than the ottoman is, it was nonetheless originally conceived to be shorter and smaller than a pouf meant as a kneeler or footstool.
